pH Sensor Module
The pH sensor module Measure the pH value in liquids using this pH-201 pH Probe with BNC Connector. It can easily be used with any 5 V microcontroller like Arduino board.
A temperature sensor built into the board allows for temperature compensation during pH value calculation. Using a microcontroller like for example an Arduino, you can read the temperature from Pin T0. The module has also two potentiometers: One for setting the sensor offset (next to the BNC connector) and a second one for setting a threshold for the D0 pin. D0 is set to HIGH as soon as the pH threshold is passed. By default, the offset is set to 0 V when a pH value of 7 is measured which means that acidic solutions cause a negative voltage. Using the offset trimmer you can set the voltage range to be between 0 and 5 V - which again equals 0 to 14 pH.
Please note that you have to turn the trim pots a few times to be able to see the difference that it makes.
Pinout:
- T0: Temperature, analog output
- D0: 3,3V output when measured pH value is higher than the set threshold
- P0: pH value, analog output
- GND: Probe ground
- GND: Sensor board ground
- VCC: 5V operating voltage
