Series circuit
When the bulbs are connected in series like in the above image, the voltage will divide between the two bulbs which means that they will glow dimly when the switch is turned on.
Electromagnet
Power a coil and you will have converted it into a magnet for as long as you supply it
with energy.
Parallel circuit
When the bulbs are connected in parallel, the voltage across the bulbs will be the same as the battery's voltage which means that they will grow bright.
Reed switch
A reed switch works with two small plates inside a glass tube. When a magnet is brought closer, these two plates will press against each other and cause them to make contact. This is why the buzzer will buzz when a magnet is brought close to the reed switch in the above circuit.
DIY LED with switch
This basic circuit has a resistor connected in series with an LED to limit the current flow through the LED to ensure it does not blow. If the small rocker switch is switched, the LED will turn on, and if the small rocker switch is switched off, the LED will also turn off.
Wind-powered Car
In everyday life we use motors. Motors convert electrical energy into kinetic energy. This type of energy is used in all sorts of appliances like washing machines, toy motors, pumps and much more.
and many more!
STEAM for children and adults
For children, STEAM offers the opportunity to develop critical thinking skills, foster creativity, enhance problem-solving abilities, promote collaboration, and prepare for future job opportunities. Adults, on the other hand, can experience lifelong learning, career advancement, improved problem-solving and critical thinking skills, unleashed creativity and innovation, and personal enrichment. Whether you're a young explorer or a seasoned adventurer, STEAM education has something incredible to offer!
