SPW47N60C3 N-CHANNEL MOSFET
Because of the ruggedness and switching method of MOSFETs, they are commonly used in applications that require fast and easy switching and in circuits that need to be able to operate under high current conditions. Circuits that contains MOSFETs include motor drivers, inverters, induction heaters etc. One of the big advantages of MOSFETs are that they drain very little current from the logic circuit used to switch it on and off. They simply have to sense the correct voltage on the gate pin in order for it to become open and allow current to flow between the drain and the source pins of the MOSFET.
