Funduino Mega 2560
The Funduino MEGA 2560 is designed for more complex projects. With 54 digital I/O pins, 16 analog inputs and a larger space for your sketch it is the recommended board for 3D printers and robotics projects. This gives your projects plenty of room and opportunities.
The Funduino Mega 2560 is fully compatible with the Arduino Mega R3 and can also be programmed using the Arduino IDE. I has a bootloader built in on the board which means that will be able to program it using only your PC and a USB cable that connects your PC to the Funduino.
After you have loaded your code onto the board, you can disconnect your PC from the board and power it using a power supply that supplies the board within the range of 7V - 12V.
Funduino Mega2560 is fully compatible with genuine Arduino Mega 2560 and makes no difference, only the manufacturer changes.
The Funduino Mega2560 is a microcontroller board based on the ATmega2560. It has 54 digital input/output pins (of which 15 can be used as PWM outputs), 16 analog inputs, 4 UARTs (hardware serial ports), a 16 MHz crystal oscillator, a USB connection, a power jack, an ICSP header, and a reset button. It contains everything needed to support the microcontroller; simply connect it to a computer with a USB cable or power it with a AC-to-DC adapter or battery to get started. The Mega 2560 board is compatible with most shields designed for the Uno and the former boards Duemilanove or Diecimila.
The Mega 2560 board can be programmed with the Arduino Software (IDE). For details, see the reference and tutorials.
The ATmega2560 on the Mega 2560 comes pre-programmed with a bootloader that allows you to upload new code to it without the use of an external hardware programmer. It communicates using the original STK500 protocol (reference, C header files).
