These connectors are commonly used in RCVs to power the board from the battery. Because of the size and ease of connection these connectors have, it is ideal to be used in small, low current applications where it is preferred to be able to swap a part quickly and without struggling. It also has grooves which will ensure that the polarity can not be reversed when the connectors are plugged into each other.
