Prototype Shield v.5.
The Prototype Shield makes it easy for you to build custom circuits. You can solder parts to the prototyping area to create your project, or use the small solderless breadboard to quickly test circuit ideas without having to solder.
To use the Prototype Shield v.5 mounts it on top of your Arduino(e.g The Uno). To upload sketches to the board, connect it to your computer with a USB cable as you normally would. Once the sketch has been uploaded, you can disconnect the board from your computer and power it with an external power supply.
Prototype Shield v.5 Specification:
- All Arduino pins are brought to the top level
- 5V, GND, and Vin pins are exposed as well
- 2 general-use LEDs
- 1 general-use button
- Reset button brought to top level
