What a neat little unit to replace the huge clunky radio on my boat, remember you need to amplify this little unit so you cant use it as is. Recommend ordering PAM8610 digital power amplifier board to go with this!! Great products!

This MP3 decoder works well with memory stick and SD card. It will play all MP3's on the stick or card in sequence, also those in sub directories. It does not display any meta data of the MP3, but does show the elapsed time. It will show the sequence number of the MP3's if you skip forward or backward. I did not test the Bluetooth, FM radio or remote. I soldered a 3.5mm female audio jack to the output so that it can be plugged into the 'line in' of an old mini HiFi.

Hi Elton, You are absolutely Correct, without an amp you will barely hear anything because this is just the decoding module and does not hhave any amplification as stated in the product discription.
