The GY-91 module is a breakout board for both the InvenSense’s MPU-9250 9-Axis IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit) and Bosch BMP280. The MPU-9250 combines a 3-axis accelerometer, 3-axis gyroscope and 3-axis magnetometer in a single tiny chip and provides 16-Bits of resolution for each of the 9 axes. The BMP280 on the other hand is a barometric pressure sensor which adds yet another sensor to this module. Other features include an embedded digital output temperature sensor, a user-programmable full-scale range for both the accelerometer and gyroscope, an on-chip 512-Byte FIFO buffer and has extremely low power consumption.
