Hi

I have a problem with my volts running unstable some times its 14Volt and run flat 10Volts.
But i need stable 12Vdc at 1A,try to use LM7812 regulator but heat up to fast.

Had the same problem with my regulator.
You could try a DC-DC module  DC-DC XL6009 Auto Boost Buck(Cuk) Module (botshop.co.za)

The XL6009 Adjustable Buck Boost Module is a versatile voltage regulator that can step up or step down voltages to meet specific electronics needs. Here’s what makes it special:

  1. Dual Functionality:
    • The XL6009 operates as both a buck converter (reducing voltage) and a boost converter (increasing voltage).
    • It’s capable of handling a wide input voltage range of 3.8V to 32V DC and an even wider output voltage range of 1.25V to 35V DC.
    • You can adjust the output voltage by turning the integrated potentiometer.
  2. Current Rating:
    • The module provides a 4A current rating, which is sufficient for most electronics applications.
    • Whether you’re powering sensors, microcontrollers, or other components, this module ensures stable voltage regulation.
  3. Automatic Switching for Solar Power:
    • The XL6009 is an excellent choice for regulating voltages from solar power due to its automatic switching capabilities and auto-start voltage.
  4. Compact Design:
    • With its small form factor, the XL6009 is easy to incorporate into your projects.
    • It’s a valuable tool for electronics makers, hobbyists, and professionals alike.

Remember, this module allows you to adapt voltages seamlessly, ensuring your components stay safe and your circuits remain stable.
